SCANIA P-SRS C-CLASS P450 CB 8X4 2015

Big SCANIA P-SRS C-CLASS P450 CB 8X4 Dumper style Truck. By the dust it was giving off, carrying either dirt / sand or aggregate of some kind. There is a Quarry nearby, so I presume it was picking up it's load from there. These Scania P450's look like big tough workhorses. If you're wondering what that black thing is to the right, it's the bottom half (the base) of a divan bed full to the brim with rubbish inside that has been dumped at the side of the road.

What is DumperDozer. All things vehicle related. Preferably bigger vehicles, like Dumpers, Dozers, Trucks and Buses. And even heavy machines sometimes. It will mostly show pictures and occasionally information about certain automobiles and machines. For some reason I like taking pictures of moving vehicles just as there about to go past me. I think this is due to my camera being so fast to start up that I see it as a challenge. The vehicle is about to go past, can I get my camera out and take the picture before it passes me by. Most of the time the answer is yes, I got it.

The closer I can get it to me before it passes the better. But this is risky, because push it too far and you miss it. However, my timing is usually pretty good, if sometimes a bit early.

Sometimes the image captures the drivers and passengers expressions. It's like a still pause of that exact moment that wouldn't have been captured if the urge to take the picture wasn't there. All photographs are a still pause of that very moment, that can never really be captured 100% the same again, unless purposely trying to re-create the scene. But then, for me, it loses its appeal and nostalgia.
