Doppstadt Trommel Mobile Screen Machine

The Doppstadt SM-620 Profi Trommel is a mobile screening machine that separates rubbish like plastics, wood, pebbles, stones, and even rocks, from soil / dirt / compost. And can also do the same for other, similar sized granular materials, like sand. It's widely used on landfill / recycling sites, but can also be used for many other applications to great effect.

Well revered, all members of the Doppstadt SM series are well respected for being able to handle all types of screening. Effectively filtering items that other machines can sometimes struggle with. As a result, Doppstadt Trommel's are in high demand. Brand new they are very expensive.

So as you can imagine, used trommel screeners get snapped up fairly quickly when put up for sale. Specially in the UK. However, even second hand they demand a fair old price. You can always save some money and hire one if its only needed temporarily.

Doppstadt SM-620 Trommel is a fairly big screening machine, but still very mobile. It has a trailer connection at one end making it easy to transport from one site to another whenever its needed. The rotary trommel drums are, of course, an essential component for the Doppstadt SM series.

Rotary Trommel Drums

If you buy a used Doppstadt Trommel it usually comes with at least one drum included. But, if not, the drums are also for sale second hand. They are not cheap though. Then again, in terms of machinery and parts, there's not much in this industry that is exactly cheap.

The finished product - Screened Soil Hills

I hope you like the pictures I've took of the Doppstadt SM-620 Profi. They were taken mainly for someone who wants to look at certain parts of the machine, including an example of the kind of waste it can filter, and the finished product of its screening process. Great machine by a world renowned German company.
